This is a great novella about a teenage girl who was dreading a week at a remote lake house but ended up having a time she’d never forget.  During her Spring Break,  Charlotte puts down her favorite book and hangs out with new friends. Life outside her comfort zone leads to an unexpected week of firsts for the bookish good girl: unsupervised parties,  drinking beer, tubing on the lake, swimming in her undies.  She also experiences her first love and all the emotions that come with it: nerves, doubt, hope, and jealousy.

I enjoyed the storytelling, characters, setting, and plot… it is a fun, light read.
